about scoi
A small team that only ships things meant to stay running
01 — the story
Why SCOI exists
SCOI started because the gap between a working prototype and a system a business can rely on is where most products quietly die.
Closing that gap is unglamorous work: tenant isolation, resumable uploads, alert escalation, payment failure states, the seventh step of an onboarding flow nobody wants to design. It's also the work that decides whether a product survives its first real month.
We've done it across legal AI, industrial IoT, marine hardware, workforce compliance, events and gaming — which sounds scattered until you notice every one of them is the same problem: take a messy real-world input and make it something software can depend on.
SCOI Technologies Pvt Ltd is the company behind scoi.io. We work from Pune, Maharashtra, on a hybrid model. The shipped systems on this site are the record of the team — we don't list names we haven't put on a byline.
02 — how we think
01
Production is the deliverable
A demo that works on one laptop isn't a milestone. Tested, secured, tenant-isolated, and able to take load is.
02
Phase it, so value lands early
We scope so something useful ships before the whole thing is finished. Every roadmap we've written has a version one you could sell.
03
No black boxes
AI that cites its sources, scoring engines that show their reasoning, and code your next developer can read without us in the room.
04
We'll say when it's the wrong build
Our project docs all have a “what this is not” section. Scope honesty early is cheaper than a rewrite later.
