AquaPlane

Offline-first BLE hardware app around an underwater scooter, plus cloud trip analytics.

Marine hardware

The situation

Underwater scooters were standalone machines. Riders had little after a dive beyond memory. Operators could not see which units were used, by whom, or whether they were maintained.

What we built

A connected platform around the physical scooter: Flutter mobile app, Bluetooth pairing and control, cloud trip analysis, and an operations admin. The scooter records underwater; at the surface the phone reconnects, pulls the session, and uploads it.

Technical highlight

Offline-first BLE sync with second-by-second onboard logging, chunked resumable uploads after a dive, and safety limits (depth, power, lock) set from the phone.

Outcome / scale

Designed around a fleet of 2,000+ registered scooters and thousands of riders.

What this is not

Fleet rental and time-bound hire are a separate commercial module and are not in the current platform.
